How to associate a project to the SPP 2244?

Projects can be associated to the SPP 2244 by applying to the Steering Committee. Basis for the decision are the following criteria:

• The associated project must address a research question relevant to the SPP within its scope. To demonstrate this, applicants are required to provide a one-page project description outlining the research and the methods/techniques they plan to use. A template can be downloaded here.
• The associated project needs to be actively pursued. For this, we require a statement on the active involvement of PhD students and Postdocs working on the project as part of the application sent by the PI.
• For transparency, we additionally ask for a statement on where the funding for the associated project comes from. The type of funding does not contribute to the decision about associating the project but needs to be made visible when applying.

The project description and all further requested information must be sent to the SPP Office (dfg-spp2244 (at) tu-dresden.de). Please note that associated projects do not receive funding from DFG, but that PIs and group members involved in the project get invited to all networking events and workshops, and can participate in the PhD Student Exchange Program.
